Negative Feedback Mechanism
A negative feedback mechanism is a type of control system that works by reversing an effect when it becomes too strong.
- Receptor: detects changes in the environment
- Coordination Centre: interprets signals from the receptor and sends responses to the effector
- Effector: carries out the response, reversing the effect of the change
