By accessing and using PrepWise, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use PrepWise only for its intended educational purpose. You must not:

Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorised access
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or download content
Upload malicious content, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt the service
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Educational Disclaimer

PrepWise does not guarantee exam results. Our content is supplementary to school teaching and should not be used as a sole source of exam preparation. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all content is error-free or up-to-date with the latest exam board specifications. Students should always verify information with their teachers and official exam board materials.

Alpha Testing Limitations

PrepWise is currently in alpha testing. During this period:

The service may change significantly without notice, including features, design, and functionality
User data may be reset or deleted during major updates (we will provide advance notice where possible)
The service may experience downtime, bugs, or performance issues
We do not provide a Service Level Agreement (SLA) or uptime guarantees
Access is invite-only and may be revoked at any time

By participating in the alpha, you acknowledge these limitations and agree to provide feedback to help us improve the service.

Intellectual Property

All content on PrepWise, including but not limited to text, graphics, questions, diagrams, and software, is the property of PrepWise or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service or engaged in behaviour that harms other users or the platform. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing info@prepwise.uk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrepWise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or exam performance.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of PrepWise after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of PrepWise shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
