What is Homeostasis?

Imagine you're on a long car journey and the temperature in the car starts to rise. Without air conditioning, it can get really uncomfortable. But what if I told you that your body has its own air conditioning system? It's called homeostasis!

Homeostasis is the ability of an organism or a cell to maintain a stable internal environment despite changes in the external environment.
