  • Hitler lied: "Last territorial demand" — he took rest of Czechoslovakia in March 1939.
  • Czechoslovakia destroyed: Without Sudetenland, the country was indefensible.
  • USSR alienated: Stalin saw Britain & France couldn't be trusted → Nazi-Soviet Pact.
  • Hitler strengthened: Gained Czech industry, Skoda arms works, strategic position.
