🎯 Técnica Foundation — Foundation Strategy

Your goal in the photo description is to say SOMETHING about everything — don't freeze on vocabulary you've forgotten. If you don't know the word for "supermarket", say una tienda grande (a big shop). Something relevant always beats silence.
  • Budget your prep time: 3–4 minutes on the photo, 3–4 minutes on the roleplay, 3–4 minutes on the conversation topic.
  • Write 5–6 key words on your prep sheet — not full sentences. Keywords are faster to glance at when the examiner is watching.
  • Open with En la foto hay... every time — it's the safest, clearest start and earns credit immediately.
  • For the unpredictable question: use Bueno... / Pues... / A ver... to buy two seconds while you compose your answer.
  • Aim for at least 3–4 sentences on the photo description — one per step of the formula.
  • End every opinion with porque + a reasonCreo que es interesante porque... always earns more marks than an opinion alone.
