Every regular Spanish verb belongs to one of three families. The stem never changes — only the ending tells you who is doing the action and when.
Persona hablar (to speak) — -ar comer (to eat) — -er vivir (to live) — -ir
yo hablo como vivo

él/ella habla come vive
nosotros hablamos comemos vivimos
ustedes hablan comen viven
