Scan the text for these 10 SSC patterns. Mark any tricky ones mentally — a silent h word, a guttural j/g word, or a double-ll. Then speak at 70% of your normal speed. Clarity beats speed in AQA marking — an examiner who can clearly credit your /y/ for calle gives more marks than a fast mumble.
