💡 Errores frecuentes — Common Errors

❌ Error 1: Mañana hacerá buen tiempo.

✅ Correcto: Mañana hará buen tiempo.

Por qué: hacer in the future uses the irregular stem har-, not the full infinitive. The stem drops the -ec- entirely: har-é / har-ás / har-á / har-emos / har-éis / har-án. Writing hacerá treats it as a regular verb — the examiner cannot credit it as a correct future form under AO3.

❌ Error 2: Estudiaré en la biblioteca esta tarde. (using future for an immediate plan)

✅ Más natural: Voy a estudiar en la biblioteca esta tarde.

Por qué: ir a + infinitivo is the preferred structure for definite near-future plans — especially when a time marker like esta tarde (this afternoon) signals something imminent. The future simple sounds more natural for longer-term predictions (estudiaré medicina). Both are grammatically accepted at GCSE and will be credited, but ir a + inf reads as the more authentic choice for immediate intentions.
