Q1 — The photo description formula
Always open Q1 with the standard formula, then develop it into 3–4 sentences:

- On peut voir is slightly more sophisticated than il y a — use it for variety

Developing beyond a basic answer — the 3-sentence rule
For every question after Q1, aim for exactly three elements: answer + opinion + development.
Q2 model (do you enjoy sport?):

⭐ Keep Talking — The Examiner Prompt Rule
The examiner is allowed to prompt you with "Et alors?" (And then?) or "Pourquoi?" (Why?) if you stop too soon. Being prompted is not a failure — but giving one-sentence answers means you are relying on prompts rather than driving the conversation. Aim to give 3–4 sentences per answer unprompted. The examiner is looking for sustained, developed communication: each prompt they need to give you costs you one mark opportunity.
