⭐ Depuis quand — the duration question

Depuis quand asks how long something has been going on. The answer uses depuis + present tense:

Depuis quand apprends-tu le français?J'apprends le français depuis trois ans.

Note: French uses the present tense here — not the perfect tense as English might suggest.

  • Adding dans le nord de l'Angleterre gives extra detail for higher marks
