- sich verstehen mit + dative = to get on with: Ich verstehe mich gut mit meiner Schwester.
- sich streiten = to argue: Ich streite mich oft mit meinem Bruder.
- heiraten = to marry: Sie heiraten im Sommer.

- nett is a predicate adjective (it comes after sein), so it takes no ending
- sich verstehen is reflexive — "to get on / understand each other"; here uns is the reflexive pronoun for wir
