📏 Measuring Current
Instrument: Ammeter
How to connect: In SERIES — the ammeter must be part of the circuit loop so all current flows through it.
Why series? You want to measure ALL the current flowing — if it's in parallel, current would split and you'd only measure part of it.
Circuit symbol: Circle with A inside
Exam tip: Current is the SAME everywhere in a series circuit — it doesn't get "used up" by components!
