Comparing Reflex Actions

There are several different types of reflex actions, including:

  1. Knee jerk reflex: This is a simple reflex that involves the contraction of the quadriceps muscle in response to tapping the patellar tendon.
  2. Pupil reflex: When light enters the eye, it stimulates the pupil reflex, causing the pupils to constrict and reduce light entry.
  3. Withdrawal reflex: This is a more complex reflex that involves the contraction of muscles in response to pain or other stimuli, allowing the body to withdraw from harm.
