Worked Example 2: Finding Mass

Gold has density 19.3 g/cm³. Find the mass of a gold bar with volume 25cm³.

Step 1 Rearrange for Mass

Mass = Density × Volume

Step 2 Calculate

M = 19.3 × 25 = 482.5g
