Worked Example 4: Ordering Mixed FDP

Order from smallest to largest: 0.6, 3/5, 65%

Solution

Convert all to decimals:

0.6 = 0.6

3/5 = 3÷5 = 0.6

65% = 0.65

Order: 0.6 = 0.6 < 0.65

Answer: 0.6 = 3/5 < 65%
