Solve: x² + 5x + 6 = 0
Step 1 Factorise
Need: multiply to 6, add to 5
Numbers: 2 and 3
(x + 2)(x + 3) = 0
Step 2 Set each bracket = 0
Either x + 2 = 0 → x = -2
Or x + 3 = 0 → x = -3
