Half a pizza can be written as 1/2 (fraction), 0.5 (decimal), or 50% (percentage). They all mean the same amount! Being fluent in converting between fractions, decimals, and percentages (FDP) lets you choose the best format for any calculation or comparison.

F D P ÷ ×100 ×100 F = Fraction, D = Decimal, P = Percentage

Common Mistakes to Avoid
❌ Wrong: 0.5 = 5%
✅ Right: 0.5 = 50%
Remember to ×100 when converting to %
❌ Wrong: 25% = 0.25/100
✅ Right: 25% = 25/100 = 0.25
% already means /100, don't divide again
❌ Wrong: 0.33 = 1/3
✅ Right: 0.333... = 1/3
1/3 is recurring, not terminating
