Worked Example 1: Finding Pressure
A force of 200N acts on an area of 0.5m². Calculate the pressure.
Step 1 Write formula
Pressure = Force ÷ Area
Step 2 Calculate
P = 200 ÷ 0.5 = 400 N/m² (or 400 Pa)
