The 360° Family

Every quadrilateral (4-sided shape) has angles that add up to 360°. Whether it's a square, a weird-shaped kite, or a wonky trapezium - the interior angles ALWAYS total 360°. This is because any quadrilateral can be split into two triangles (2 × 180° = 360°).

Visual: Quadrilateral Properties

Diagram showing six quadrilateral types with their properties: Square (4 equal sides, all 90°), Rectangle (opposite sides equal, all 90°), Rhombus (4 equal sides, opposite angles equal), Parallelogram (opposite sides parallel and equal), Trapezium (one pair parallel sides), Kite (2 pairs adjacent sides equal)

Remember: All quadrilaterals have interior angles that sum to 360°
