The Computer Toolkit

If the OS is the hotel manager, utility software is the maintenance team. They keep everything running smoothly - cleaners (disk cleanup) removing junk, organizers (defragmentation) arranging furniture efficiently, security guards (anti-malware) checking for intruders, archivists (compression) storing items compactly, and backup staff making copies of important documents. They don't do the main work but make sure everything else can!
