Common Mistakes to Avoid

❌ Wrong: Not simplifying: Answer = 6/8 ✅ Right: Always simplify: 6/8 = 3/4

Marks lost for not giving simplest form

❌ Wrong: 2½ = 2×1 + 2 = 4/2 ✅ Right: 2½ = 2×2 + 1 = 5/2

Multiply whole by denominator, not numerator

❌ Wrong: ¾ of 80 = 80÷3×4 ✅ Right: ¾ of 80 = 80÷4×3 = 60
